A Touch of Ceremony is the first full length, illuminated libretto of Homo genius. When complete, it will hold 52 illuminated plates of the entire libretto, as well as a full musical score.

This Book tells the story of Mi, a young child, who wakes up one day and decides to go and see the World. In the first half Mi visits his Family and unknowingly prepares for his long journey. In the second, Mi makes his initial forays into the great wild World and meets a number of difficult, but helpful, characters who offer him strange wisdom. In the end, from what he has experienced, Mi decides that he must become an Artist, and that he will not return home until he is.
