The Yellow Book closes the story of Mi's life. After years of practicing and meditating on his art Mi, now an old man, has reached the final stages of the Divine Play. The fourth Book begins as Mi finds himself upon the threshold of this World.

The first half of the performance unravels as Mi passes through the threshold, where he encounters various people and beings who inhabit the ethereal regions of Creation. The story finishes as Mi passes through from this World into the beyond.

The second half of the fourth Book consists of the postlude, a musical/visual performance of a simple text score.
